I paint and draw to connect — with people, purpose, and place, and I am always chasing the feeling in the moment.
My art is also about noticing.

My work honours the beauty of nature and the stories of strength in people and my own advocacy in various spaces.

Through my nature and landscape inspired art I celebrate both the extraordinary and the ordinary- blossoms, leaves, water, tree fruit, shadows and fleeting moments that remind us how every small wonder is sacred and shapes a life of meaning.

Through my portraiture and figurative art I try to capture the stories and strength in people, particularly women's rights, women's health and heart disease from my advocacy in these spaces.

I aim to bring a sunny, honest lens to life’s complexities — finding lightness, laughter, and meaning through art.

I am primarily a 2D representational artist, staying fluid across media: each piece begins with a sense of connection and the choice of medium becomes part of how the story is told.
I am less interested in replicating reality, but on capturing the feeling and story of my subjects, this is interpretation artwork. I do this through expressive brushwork and intentional mark-making- allowing the viewer's eye to do the blending, much like a story leaves something for the reader’s imagination to fill in.
I am currently completing a Certificate in Fine Art through Curtin University and had just over a year of formal art training in an Academie whilst an expat in Antwerp, Belgium (before returning to Perth). I have also attended many courses over my lifetime in various media to improve my skills continuously.
I have participated in various exhibitions in Perth and Regional WA, including the South Perth Emerging Artist 2024. I am a member of Pastel Society of WA, Joondalup Community Arts Association, as well as being a member of several Arts groups such as Plein Air Artists Perth.

I aim to bring a sunny, honest lens to life’s complexities — finding lightness, laughter, and meaning through art.
I hope you find something in my original artwork that connects for you, that you can stand there in those moments with me and say "hey yeah there really was something special about that moment".
